Grips for Colt

This was designed by John Browning, who also designed the proper cartridge for the gun, the . 45 ACP. The Colt pistol was officially adopted in March 1911 by the US Army under the name M1911. In addition, the H&K Mark 23 model replaced the M1911 in special military operations.
