The eagle taking the serpent is the oldest emblem still in daily use in the Americas, and in two-tone it shows the engraver's hand more plainly than any other motif. The eagle is 24K gold-plated against a bright silver-plated field cut with full hand engraving, finished with tricolor artisan resin, every layer laid over an alpaca silver alloy base and worked by hand in our Guadalajara workshop, where the family has been making western pistol grips since 1984.
